nissan s14 Quarter Mile times

£35 to sign on, 30 runs down the strip, spent about £40 worth of 98ron, had 1 breakdown and 1 change of tyres.

Arrived at 10:30 and was one of the first on the strip. After 2 runs, the stock dump valve (which was blocked off) decided to fire out the blanking bung and play silly buggers dumping all boost - luckily I only live a few miles away, so went home and made another bung, and was back on the strip within half an hour

Wheelspin was the worst thing... I turned the rear dampening to softest and had around 20psi in the tyres, but I was still getting crap launches in spite of doing massive burnouts on the starting line!

put in my fastest run after 6 runs and just got slower after that... changed tyres at around 1-ish and then it started raining, so bang went any hope of getting into the 13's so took the piss after that, did lots of 2nd and 3rd gear wheelspinning and dorifto at the end of the track... so a good time was had

Would have loved to see this shame about the blanking bunging shooting out and the loss of traction in least you got some good times

wouldn't mind getting the Volvo on the quarter, when they've been tweaked they can generally give good times and the stock ECU cuts boost in first gear for quicker launches (when i reconnect the solenoid haha) id like to think i good aim for around 14.7 as mine stands :@ 245bhp
